The lace pattern is a graphic interpretation of the iconic Rolex design: the knurled bezel is only available on some of the brand’s Classic models. The design is similar to the notch on the back of the watch that is screwed tightly to the watch case, making it waterproof thanks to Rolex’s special tools. Over time, the knurled design has become a highly aesthetic detail, worthy of being a prominent part of the Rolex style.
